Behind the name of Montell Isaiah Martin
My parents chose my name for one reason. The reason they chose Montell because they used to watch the t.v show Montel Williams. That's where I got my first name from. I looked online and it didn't give me a meaning for Montell. My middle name, Isaiah, is from the bible. They read the bible and chose to give me the middle name Isaiah. I got my last name from my dad side of the family. If I would have gotten my mom last name, my name would be Montell Williams.

Questions
#1 and #2
Answer the following questions based on reading pages 1-120.Write a paragraph with some examples and a quotation for each question.Add the two paragraphs to your blog under the title “Discussing the Novel.”
#1.Publisher’s Weekly call My Sister’s Keeper a “a spellbinding suspense novel.Give your input on why this magazine might call this story suspenseful.Think about the way the book is written from different perspectives and how sections end.Do you want to read more? Are there things that are a mystery in the story? How does Jodi Picoult reveal these secrets as the story moves along? Are there any questions that you want to know at this point in the story?
I think that this story is a suspenseful novel because you never know what is coming, and you never know what is going to happen next. For example, When Anna father is telling her the story on the roof, it makes you wonder that something is going to happen that would coincide with the storyline of the story he told her. I believe that this novel should get of all the awards it has received and the honor of become a major motion picture.
What is your opinion of Sara? With her life focused on saving Kate, she sometimes neglects her other children. Jesse is rapidly becoming a juvenile delinquent, and Anna is invisible -- a fact that the little girl knows only too well. What does this say about Sara's role as a mother? What would you have done in her shoes? Has she unwittingly forgotten Jesse and Anna, or do you think she has consciously chosen to neglect them -- either as an attempt to save a little energy for herself, or as some kind of punishment? Does Sara resent her other children for being healthy? Did you find yourself criticizing Sara, empathizing with her, or both? I think that Sara is shining her love on Kate a lot more then she is for the other kids. She needs to give the same love to her other children because they are going through the same thing as she is. She shouldn’t neglect them as she is doing now. It says that Sara isn’t doing a good job with her kids. If one of them are a juvenile delinquent and one feels like she is invisible. If I was in her shoes, I would give a little bit more attention Kate; but I wouldn’t make my other kids feel like they don’t exist. I would explain to them that I love them as much as I do Kate, but Kate really needs us. That is what I would do if I was Sara. I think that she just unwittingly forgotten about Jesse and Anna. I wouldn’t say that she had forgotten about them on purpose. It’s just that she needs to give most of her attention to Kate for right now for what Kate is going through. I think that Sara doesn’t resent her other children for being healthy. I think that she is glad that they are healthy and doesn’t want them to get like Kate. I really don’t see myself doing either of those things about Sara.
